This week, on the anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11, two United States embassies were stormed by Islamist groups.  The embassy in Yemen was attacked earlier today.

The explanation for the attack on the U.S. embassy in Cairo, Egypt is that the Islamists were upset with an American film that made fun of their prophet Mohammed.  Upon storming the embassy they took down and tore up the American flag and replaced it with their black flag.  Proclaiming Allah to be the one true God.  The protesters remain in front of the embassy currently and continue to fight the riot police who have attempted to remove them.

The attack on the embassy in Benghazi, Libya happened soon after the attack in Cairo.  They stormed the embassy in a planned attack to mark the 11th anniversary of 9/11.  The terrorists captured and killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three other Americans who worked at the embassy.  The terrorists beat up ambassador Stevens and dragged his body through the streets.  Mr. Stevens is the first U.S. ambassador to die in the line of duty since 1979.

Lastly the attack on the U.S. embassy in Sanaa, Yemen where protesters stormed the embassy chanting “death to America”.  Like the protesters in Egypt, once they got into the compound they took down and burned the American flag and replaced it with their black flag bearing Islam’s declaration of faith — “There is no God but Allah.”

The attacks/protests are being blamed on a film made by an American in California.  The film is called the ‘Innocence of Muslims’ and it portrays the prophet Muhammad as a womanizer and depicts as a fraud.

It has already been made clear that the attack on the Libyan embassy was not related to the film, but all of the other protests are believed to have been caused by that.  This might be true, but only partly.  Much like with the movement to replace former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak where the Muslim Brotherhood stepped in and used the protests to promote their agenda and what they wanted.  They have done the same thing, using the anger of muslims over an American made film and gearing them to attack embassies across the middle east.

Many are blaming the movie as the cause, but the truth is that the Muslim Brotherhood has continued to grow and gain power, and they are once again using their influence and force to attack American embassies across the middle east.

Pres. Obama’s first response to the attack in Egypt, was to apologize for us, something that he has gotten used to doing over the years.  Only after the attack on the Libyan embassy did he give stern words that justice would be done for the Americans that were killed.  And it is now being reported that the U.S. had been warned of a possible embassy attack, but did nothing to prevent it from happening.

The problem with this is, he and his administration are only talking.  There are no real actions being taken.  Yes, they are strengthening American embassies and other locations around the world, but that is not enough.

After what has happened, I believe we must not threaten to pull foreign aid from these countries.  But we should pull all aid to countries across the middle east and pull out our military forces and close our embassies.  It is no longer worth it to have an embassy in a country where we are not wanted, or liked.

And as for the response to the Death Chris Stevens and the other Americans, I do not believe that sending some drones and military people in there is what we want to do.  We should respond the way Ronald Reagan did.  Bomb Libya.  If people recall when Reagan had Libya bombed after Gaddafi had attacked Pan Am Flight 103, Gaddafi stayed silent for years and for the most part stayed with his country.

No amount of diplomatic talks, or any form of talking is going to help.  The only thing that will help in this case is solutions.  Now the only solution is to withdraw from the middle east, and bomb Libya as Reagan did. And inform the Muslim Brotherhood in all the countries that they occupy, that they can expect the same thing to happen to them if they dare kill Americans in cold blood ever again.

UPDATE:

Charles Krauthammer said recently that we’re seeing the “collapse of the Obama policy in the Muslim world.”  He is correct.  These attacks are in part by our presidents doing.  By supporting the Arab Spring, he supported the Muslim Brotherhood, and indirectly or directly, he helped push them into power in these countries.  And now we are seeing the results of our president and his administrations actions.

And I will also add that Pres. Obama did send Marines into Libya.  But this action is not enough to prevent further attacks.

MAJOR UPDATE:

The American embassies in Tunisia and Sudan have recently been attacked.  Protesters scaled the walls, set fires and broke windows.  And just recently I have heard that the security in Nigeria and the Philippines has been beefed up…preparing for an attack.
