If you remember, several conservative twitter accounts were suspended due to the actions of liberal groups, including Chris Loech’s, who got suspended after a group of liberals attacked him after he defended his wife. This happened a couple of weeks ago, with no mention of it happening again.
Then I was made aware that this craziness is still going on.
Paul Ferguson ( @FngConservative ) contacted me through my website, informing me that his account had been suspended for no reason. He retweets things from Rush Limbaugh and many other outlets. Paul was most recently posting things having to do with Brett Kimberlin. Right after retweeting a tweet from Michelle Malkin where she discusses the Aaron Worthing/Brett Kimberlin fiasco, his account was suspended. Currently he is contacting Twitter to see what is going on.
Also right before his suspension he was conversing with two liberals on twitter. The accounts are @Prisonculture and @cutat126. He didn’t sense animosity coming from the two and found it harmless.
He has recently been garnering attention and getting followed by the New York Post, Newark Mayor Corey Booker and many others.
Paul is just one out of a potentially large pool of conservatives that are getting taken out by leftist accounts whose soul purpose is to silence the voices of conservatives. They are going after the small voices like Paul.
And you or I could be next. We must stand together and keep an eye on each other. We cannot let our voices be silenced. We must stick together. The liberals think that by silencing one conservative voice, that they can take the rest of us out. But they are wrong. They fail to realize how powerful of a group we really are.
So send tweets to Twitter and make sure they know what is going on, and that people are abusing the system. We cannot, and will not, let them get away with silencing free speech.

So what are you guys going to do about it? My account has been suspended twice – under two different handles. I was a bit sharp in my criticism, once to Chelsea Handler, the late night talk show host on E! I questioned how and why she gets away with racism, anti-woman, homophobic rants and yet celebrated as an iconic comedian by the left. The other person who got my second account suspended was Greg Sargent of the Washington Post, whom I called a Obama crony. If you think about it, there was nothing nasty about my tweets. Private companies like twitter should respect our first amendment rather than capitulating to these liberals sensitivities. I’m just a regular guy – a conservative, and no one will pay attention to what I have to say. If there is a legal way to go after twitter for this kind of discrimination, I’m all ears. Do you guys have anything to say?

Hi,
I talked with people when the whole situation with Chris Loech flared up. And from what I know, it is not Twitter that suspends you directly. It is their system. The way they have it set up, is that if a whole bunch of people flag your account then the system will suspend you. So if someone like the people you were making comments toward told a whole group of people to flag your account then they can get you shut down. I know that Chirs Loech notified Twitter of the problem and they stated that they are going to try to fix the problem where innocent people get their accounts suspended.

Thanks for responding Shawn. If what you say is true then left is more organized and tech savvy than individual conservatives like me. I read through my entire timeline of both my now suspended twitter accounts, and there is nothing that was overtly nasty in any of my tweets. On the other hand, the nastiness lefties get away with on twitter is quite alarming!I think lefties are combing through people who have profiles with certain buzz words – for example – #conservative #constitution #freeenterprise etc. OR their tweets. Once they hone in on that individual, they’re carefully picking on certain tweets and reporting them as spam or whatever. If that is the problem, it needs to be brought to twitter’s attention. I’m just a bit wary of twitter. I think they’re working hand in hand with certain lefties on twitter to silence any conservatives unless they are part of a bigger picture – like Chris Loesch. What are unknown conservatives like me supposed to do? My voice has already been silenced by twitter, twice. I think we are living in a new world of lefty-domination, wherein one can’t offer any opinion or thought, if it isn’t pre-approved by leftist ideology. PS: twitter has an option to plead your case for suspended accounts, but I think it is a legal trap to make one admit a mistake they haven’t made. So long, twitter. But, thank you so much for taking interest in me and keep me updated, and I’ll keep checking with you.

No problem. My whole goal for writing this post was to help make people more aware, and a good amount of people have found this post and put their stories in the comments…but it is really hard when nobody knows who you are. Also, I believe that Chris Loech pleaded his case with twitter and that is how he got in contact with them, and they seemed to apologize for the incident, and un-suspended his account. I don’t believe that it is a legal trap, to my knowledge.

Hi again, it occurred to me – why not make this even a bigger issue? In fact, I’m just not going to sit quietly as if nothing happened. We need to spread the word of twitter+lefty atrocity even on a bigger scale. I have some ideas, but I don’t want to discuss them on this public platform. Email me.

They suspended me apparently last night after I went to bed, found out when I got up this morning but it came right back. I was just now suspended again. No nasty language, no spamming, no nothing but conservative views. Simple minded, teeny little people.

My twitter account @The_Con_Lib has been suspended twice in the past week. I have not violated the TOS, made obscene or threatening posts, etc. My offense is having a point of view that differs from those tolerant folks on the far left.
Twitter needs to get with the program and block the people who are causing the problem instead of the people being attacked.

Thank you for informing me. I think the problem lies in Twitter’s setup, it automatically suspends people if they get a certain amount, that is the system…but I believe they may be looking into it. I’m sorry that this has happened to you.

My twitter was suspended recently and I wasn’t even given an explanation. I sent an email asking why, and got NO response. My account was completely deleted later that same day. I actually read the terms of service and I’m certain I never violated any of them.
I simply tweeted to other conservatives and reposted interesting conservative quotes, articles etc. It’s very frustrating not to have an answer to “why”, I can only guess that it had something to do with my conservative POV.
Thanks for listening, Carla Salard

Same thing has happened to me ( @libhypwatch ) 3 times. Just happened again & interestingly enough, it has always happened after tweeting PeterSmirniotopoulos ( @PSmirn )
Libs just can’t stand a different POV…

This sort of thing happens with YouTube accounts as well. The left goes on these “flagging” campaigns, taking down opinions they want silenced. Censorship by the tolerant, all inclusive, big tent, left. BTW, they deride conservatives with the label ‘book burners’. How ironic, as they are doing this with the digital world (Twitter / YouTube).
