With Rick Santorums daughter’s illness continuing to be a problem, and the challenges that he would have to face. He has decided to drop out of the race for President.
Rick Santorum gave a small press conference today in Gettysburg, with just his family behind him. He reflected on the entire length of his campaign since he first started in Somerset. Recalling memories of meeting supporters and being encouraged from people all over the United States.
As he talked in the past of things that happened, me and everyone else already figured that he was suspending his campaign before he spoke the words.
For those of us who worked hard on the campaign for many months, this will not be an easy adjustment, nor has it ever been. I encourage everyone to not be disheartened, and to not give up the fight.
Even though the possibilities of beating President Obama are now weaker, there is still another task that we can now focus harder on. That is taking back the United States Senate, and making our majority in Congress even larger.
Remember that Rick started and ended his campaign with one thing at the forefront of his mind, his family. We should be proud of him for fighting and making our voices heard. And making sure that Mitt’s feet were held to the fire.
Let us continue to fight with Rick Santorums spirit and save our country in November.
Also do not forget, that 2016 is right around the corner.
Thanks for all your hard work for Rick Shawn. Love you my brother!
