The Hypocrisy Of Brian Williams

The past couple of days, the media has gone into a frenzy over Arizona Gov. Jan Brewers finger point at Pres. Obama.  One of them, is Brian Williams.

Williams reported on it, saying about the incident that “you don’t see that often, or maybe ever.”  As he criticizes the governor of her justified actions, Brian fails to bring up that he too pointed his finger into a president’s face.  Namely, president Bush.

In an interview in 2006, in an outdoor interview, Williams and then President Bush were talking about the presidency.  Bush was talking about how people analyze not only the decisions made, but the decision maker, and that as the president, you can’t let that get you off track.  Soon Williams cut in, with his finger pointed directly at President Bush, saying “Even if your frustrated that we’re getting something wrong.”

As funny as Mr. Williams may be on Jimmy Fallon‘s show, the man has proven to be a hypocrite.  Judging the actions of Gov. Brewer without knowing the facts, while he himself has done the same thing.

All of this also shows how biased the media is.  When Williams pointed his finger at President Bush, there wasn’t uproar, or any big to do made about it.  But if a governor shoves a finger at President Obama, the entire media goes into a frenzy and begins to judge the governor and wonder ‘why would you do that to the leader of the free world’.
