I have been aware since the day that Herman Cain suspended his campaign that there were people who wanted a write-in campaign. It sounded like a great idea at the time, but it did not appear to be going anywhere and I resigned myself to the fact that it wont work.
But it appears that I am wrong. Right underneath my nose the fire has been lit, Americans are coming together in solidarity for Mr. Cain. Funds are being raised for placing ads in Iowa, and another site, called Write In Herman Cain, is focused on funding a nation wide billboard campaign. On the site they are also selling merchandise to help raise funds. Their motto is “The establishment wrote him off…We the people will write him in!”, and explains how he was the leader of the field for the nomination and that the establishment didn’t like how threatened their status quo.
One of the people pushing for the write-in campaign is political analyst and radio talk show host, Carl Boyd, Jr. of Tennessee. From hearing people among the new movement, Mr. Boyd appears to be becoming the voice for the write-in Herman Cain campaign.
The ads are not out there yet, and from what I’m hearing they will be published very soon. When they do go up I will tell all of you and publish the media that it will come out on so the rest of the country can see.
So far no one is talking about the possibility of Herman Cain still being a viable candidate in Iowa. From talking to many people from around the country and looking up some primary ballots, Mr. Cain is still on most of them. The reason why is because of how late he exited the race, and since he had already done the paperwork and raised the money for those states he remains on the ballot.
I am not sure if Mr. Cain will take first place in Iowa. But if he does make a good showing in the ‘first in the nation’ state, heaven only knows what sort of uproar will occur.
With just over a week till the Iowa primary, and Newt Gingrich‘s slow decline, anything can happen.
If you know of any more information about the rising Herman Cain write-in campaign, I would appreciate it if you would contact me. Also, leave your thoughts about this news in the comments below.

At the very least we are sending a message to the establishment. If Herman doesn’t like it, he can simply ask us to stop. If being in the spotlight was a problem for Herman and his family, he wouldn’t be putting himself in the spotlight with thecainsolutions.com I don’t buy that argument Laura.

Remember Rocky Balboa? Everyone loves someone who gets up off the mat to keep on fighting! With the wussies we now have vying for the GOP nomination, Herman Cain would be a “shining light” to our nation and the best candidate for President. Please Mr. Cain, get back in the race, take your campaign off of suspension.

I have heard that if Mr. Cain does not WANT this, whatever votes he gets from write-ins he can then decide which candidate they would go to…. if this is true, then a write-in campaign and action would do NOTHING to HURT Mr. Cain and his family. The people who were against him wanted him silenced and they wanted him to stop speaking and actively campaigning for President. If he WERE to win the nomination, the decision would of course still be up to him. Some have said it hurts the conservative cause to do this, but if he does decide where those votes cast for him go, then that obviously would not be the case, as those supporting him have full confidence in his judgment as to which direction those votes should go.

I supported Mr. Cain even before he announced he was running for president. I was disappointed when he suspended his campaign. However, I do not support a write-in campaign for. He made the decision to suspend his campaing for specific reasons and I will respect his decision. The main goal at this time is to defeat Obama and his mess of an administration. I won’t support a write in campaign unless Mr. Cain asks for it himself.

I’ve never gotten off the Cain Train. We took it to the UNDERGROUND RAILROAD and haven’t stopped supporting him. This Write-in campaign started the day he “suspended” his campaign DUE TO MEDIA BIAS and how that was effecting his family! Well – WE CONTINUED TO CAMPAIGN without the MEDIA SPOTLIGHT and there are more of us ready and willing than you could know!
I’m in Iowa, and I have 8 days until I √ the Box for Herman Cain – he’s still on the ballot for the Iowa Caucus!
May God Continue to Bless America, and our efforts to bring Herman Cain to her rescue!

I would have loved a President Herman Cain. But he exited the race because his family was in danger and was being hurt by the baseless and disgusting allegations. A write in Campaign puts him right back in the spotlight and puts his family in the same position all over again. i dont think this is fair to do to him or his loved ones. i think supporting TheCainSolutions is a good way to preserve his legacy, achieve his goals and influence the establishment from the outside. THIS seems to be what Mr Cain wants now and what he has decided is best for his family.

America needs the vision and leadership of Mr. Cain. I know he is still on the ballot in Texas but if he wasn’t, I definitely would write him in.
