President Obama and the White House officials have decided that they will not release pictures of Osama Bin Ladens dead body. Stating that they are too graphic for the public because it shows a gaping hole in the forehead with one eye open and brain mater exposed. He also stated in an interview that they didn’t want to fuel conspiracy theories by posting the photo. Saying that he does not want it to be used to incite additional violence, and or used as a propaganda tool.
It has been pointed out that photo’s of the other dead bodies from the raid have been posted, and yet Bin Laden’s still remains secretive. Pres. Obama has reached a problem with the American people, in that we want to see the photo’s, but he refuses to let us see them. And in fact the only people who have said that they should not be posted, are the people who have already seen them, which in itself is ridiculous.
Sarah Palin said in a tweet message to Pres. Obama that we should “show the photo as warning to others seeking America’s destruction.” Other people who want the photo’s to be shown are Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter and many others.
The main problem in not showing the pictures, is that the leaders and others in the Middle East do not respond to words. They respond to action and force. Never have they been impressed by speech, which is something that Pres. Obama would know more about if he wasn’t so busy with his re-election campaign and trying to be “honorable” I guess you could say. The leaders in the Middle East will not believe he is dead, and will also not take the United States seriously unless they see the photos of Bin Ladens dead body. Case and point. There is nothing else to it.
I say that they should release the photo’s, and stop worrying about conspiracies, because it will happen anyways, and by not showing the photos they are making it ten times worse. We are a people who have seen much violence in the past ten years, not only in reality, but in movies and shows. I think we can handle this Mr. President.
